I took a writing class last semester in which my slightly kooky professor had us do blog posts every week. I guess I told him at some point that I didnt feel I was a great writer because at the end of the semester he gave me a talk to “inspire me” and that writing can be fun. I put this in air quotes because although the effort was genuine, I truly did not have an interest to continue with blogging. Yet, here I am 2 months later creating girlalala. He won.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a writer nor do I claim to have impeccable writing capabilities. I’m honestly just doing this because one of my friends has a blog and it seemed cool. So all this is my thoughts put down on paper (or I guess website) anytime I feel like writing. I didn’t expect to actually enjoy the coding aspect of this website, so that’s new. I’m excited to see what comes about girlalala and if I keep up with it. I truly hope I do because this has all been really fun, so thank you girlwonderlost for the inspiration.
